Toronto Public Health offers pregnant individuals and their families a free online prenatal program.  You can learn at your own pace from the comfort of wherever you choose.

Why complete this free online prenatal program?

There are 29 interactive classes that include video, audio, games and quizzes. Our prenatal program offers educational information and provides supports for parents-to-be, to:

  • improve health behaviour
  • increase confidence with managing pregnancy and birth
  • prepare for parenthood

Take a look at our most popular classes:

  • Looking out for you and baby
    Learn about the prenatal tests that you may have to take during pregnancy and the importance of informed consent.
  • Parenting 101
    Learn about what to expect and help prepare you for the changes that will happen when baby is born.
  • Preparing for labour: The countdown begins
    Learn about the different comfort measures you can use to cope with pain during labour and what to pack to for the hospital.

Parents-to-be can also chat with other parents in the Parent Zone and ask questions to the parent educator or panel of experts in the Parenting Q&A. Completing this program provides you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to prepare for parenthood.
