How do I know my baby is growing well – at 3 to 6 months?

Happy laughing baby on tummy playing with colourful ballBaby’s been at home now for a few months.  You’ve noticed that he is doing something new every day.  When you make a funny face, he either smiles or cries, grabs at your face or other objects to play.  He is even trying to turn from his tummy onto his back — always make sure to have him in a safe place!

Babies during these months are more vocal and they are more aware of how their body parts move.  You may be wondering, should he be doing more and what can I do to support his development?  Remember, every child develops at his own pace but there are signs you can watch for that show he’s growing well.
